Here's what's new with us...

Well my first baby (she would DIE if she knew I called her that) turned 10 yesterday!!! Where does the time go?? She had a good day. First her and I went to breakfast at Magelby's Fresh ( I stuck to my yummy eating with 2 egg whites scrambled with fresh spinach added..cooked in Pam (no butter or oil allowed!) a bananna, vanilla yougat with pumpkin/flax seen granola mixed in and Taylor had their YUMMY french toast!! She then went with Marc and Uncle Brad up to Sundance to snowboard....They said it was super windy on the mountain..and cold! Then we went to Pizza Factory for dinner with our good friends Banning, Jaimy and Savannah....And she went to basketball practice where Marc filled in for the coach..... A full day but fun!
Taylor is a great basketball player! I never thought I would be the mom to get into games but MAN! My palms get sweaty and I get so excited! She plays point guard (brings the ball down) and is so good at going straight thru the middle and making baskets...Seriously sooooo fun to watch...She handles the ball like no other!!!
Marc and I are hitting the gym daily still and loving it! My eating has been super clean.. My friend said I will see the fat (I know I am not fat but am wanting to lean out and have even more muscle deffination) melt off.... and guess what? It's been only 1 week and I am literaly seeing a difference! Especially in my abs...You can really see them now! I am sooo excited! And I feel better. I went to the grocery store and it was so weird to see all fruits and veggies and chicken and turkey and no junk at all in my cart. I have to say it was such a great feeling!! And my kids have not complained once!!!! So I will continue to update on my progress!
Bryce is still bouncing off the walls.....total boy! And tooth number 2 is about to come out. Marc will be going to St. George today for a few days to do some lanscape installation on a new home... Parade of homes is coming up down there.
Well that's about it for now...Love to all!

I need all the support I can get!!!!

Yes...It's true. I have begun my new life of eating clean! The best book ever about eating healthy (The Eat Clean Diet (although it isn't really a diet) by Tosca Reno (she writes for Oxygen Mag.)) is amazing!!!! Day 3 and loving it!!!! And I have almost lost my cravings for "crap" food....and those of you who know me know that is a HUGE deal! Marc and I have been lifting every day and it has been fun to push myself even harder with him....so for me the hardest part has been my eating! So to all my friends.....pray for me to stay strong!!!!! lol I am totally excited and Marc is even beginning to show interest in eating "healthier".... Out went all the chips and crackers (that part my kids were not too keen on) but all has been replaced by tons of veggies and fruits and I am totally addicted to hummus!!! And here is a shocker... I have been off Diet Coke for almost 2 1/2 months now! I can hardly believe that! Look out bikini season......

My brush with fame in Park City....

Yesterday we loaded into the car and went to Park City after church. The Sundance Film Festival is going on so we decided to head up. I knew it was going to be a good day because it we actually got a parking spot right on Main Street! That hardly ever happens when there is nothing going on.... Well we begin to walk and the first person we saw was Jared Leto ( I did love him on My So Called Life back in the day). He was about 3 inches taller then I and about 10 lbs lighter!! ha ha well maybe not the last part but he was wearing alot of eyeliner (more than any girl should EVER wear) and his little sisters jeans!! Man do I hate that style and hope it does not make it's comeback when my son is old enough to want to do it! So then Taylor and I went off in search of a steamed soy milk and here comes Ian Ziering (Steve Sanders to all you non- Beverly Hills 90210 fans) and I can actually say I got checked out by him in a non discrete way and although I should be flattered...I was a little creeped out instead. Nothing quite beats getting leered at alittle!!! But the best part of the day was this.....Marc and Bryce are in the car waiting and when Tay and I get back he says did you see ---- ------ right there? Well Bryce hears her first name and jumps out of the car (she was standing there talking to 3 other women) and runs and grabs her arm and she turns down to see who it is..(he had a pre-school teacher with the same first name)and he realizes it isn't her and runs back to us....Well she comes over to our car and yes...it's Jodi Foster!!! I about passed out as she comes over to talk to us.....She was so incredibly nice!!!! And just laughing at Bryce who is now mad to learn she is NOT "Miss Jodi" his favorite teacher from last year. And dummy me forgot we actually brought a camera!!!! But I was also impressed at how pretty in person she is. And such kind eyes...Again she was soooo nice!!!! Alot of people were all decked out in furs and heels, mini skirts.... (hello! it's a SKI resort town WHAT are you thinking??) but there she was just talking to all the people that broke into her conversation hanging out in jeans and a parka and gracious to all.....( ah I love Agent Starling all the more...(Silence of the Lambs))..And let me say that Bryce was a BIG hit there..Yes we did bring back the mohawk....even some talent agency stopped him and took his pic holding one of there signs....all up and down the street people were making comments...so funny! We had a great day! Park City is so beautiful in the winter......

Bryce reading to mom..

I forgot to add this pic with the others....Bryce got Dick and Jane books for Christmas and he works really hard learning to read. I get so excited and sad at the same time...because I realize how quickly he is growing up!!! And I know what some of you are thinking and NO! It is not time for another one!!! ha ha You know who you are.... lol

Hmm the big news of the New Year...Bryce lost his 1st tooth! We went to friends for New Years Eve and Bryce made 4 bucks off people there (they paid him money if he would let Marc yank it out) and $10 bucks for the tooth fairy. Yeah I know that is alot but in our house it is a big deal when it's your first one. He looks cute when he talks now..a little older almost! Today was back to school day!!!! I am soooo happy about that!!!! I love my kids... but did I really fight like that with my brother? If I did ....a million apologies to you mom and dad!!! It has been super fun to have Marc home...he works so much the rest of the year. And I know it is hard for him to be not working...I love it. He has been sticking to his vow of working out and getting "huge"..infact he has gained 10 lbs in 3 weeks. Now I personally feel it is unjust that I cannot loose 10 lbs in 3 months!!!!! And he can gain that fast. Ah well us women seem to get the short end of the stick in that area.... I think that while he is sleeping I will slather oil on his face in the summer...and then while he is working in the sun he can get age wrinkles and look older than me and THEN we can call it even!! lol I love my husband and could not ask for better... he treats me and the children like the most important people on this earth...So an eternity of gratefulness to his mother for raising such and amazing son...

first lost tooth..

My last cookie of the year and back to no sweets!!!! Am I crazy??

This kid would be a train if he could...

Bryce got this from Santa...

My Very First Project

So I totally bought this dresser at a yard sale for $7.00.....And I will say that it did sit in our garage for many months. And every time I would pull in I would see it and think to myself "Gosh, I really need to do something with that"... So after a trip to Home Depot (one of my fav stores ever....I love how it smells!!!) and supplies were purchased... ta-da the out come was much better than I though I had the skills to do!!! It was a really fun project and much more rewarding than just buying it already done. Paint, distressed, stain and hardwear and many hours in the very cold garage (that's what I get for being lazy..)I am very proud of myself!!

The starting point

love the color??

I was so happy how this turned out..
